Overview
A single product fundraiser targets a specific product page rather than a collection-based campaign landing page. The campaign callout — status bar, coupon code, and branding — appears directly on the product page. Setup uses a Shopify metafield to link the product to the campaign.
Step 1: Create the Campaign
Create your campaign in Fundlet as normal — title, description, logo, goal, and payout. The difference: don't assign a collection. Since this is a single product fundraiser, you won't be using a collection.
Step 2: Add the Fundlet Block to Your Product Template
In the theme customizer, go to your Product page template and make sure the Fundlet Product app block is present in the Product Information section. This block is what renders the campaign callout on the product page.
Step 3: Link the Product to the Campaign via Metafield
- In your Shopify admin, go to Products and open the product you want to use.
- Scroll to the bottom and click View All under Metafields.
- Find the Fundlet metafield — it's created automatically when the app is installed.
- Select your campaign from the dropdown and hit Save.
Step 4: Preview
Preview the product page. You should now see the Fundlet callout with your campaign's status bar and coupon code displayed directly on the product page, ready to go.
