Overview
Instead of using a dedicated Fundlet campaign page, you can use an existing Shopify collection page as your fundraiser landing page. The collection displays the Fundlet banner and tracks sales just like any other campaign.
Note: This works best with basic collections. If your collection uses instant-buy popups or other complex features, it may not be compatible.
Step 1: Link the Campaign to the Collection via Metafield
- In your Shopify admin, go to Products → Collections and open the collection you want to use.
- Scroll down to Metafields and click View All.
- Find the Fundlet Campaign metafield, click Select an Entry, and choose your campaign.
- Hit Save.
The campaign is now associated with the collection.
Step 2: Add the Fundlet Banner Block in the Theme Customizer
- Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize.
- Navigate to Collections.
- Inside the collection template, find the custom section and click Add Block → Apps → Fundlet Banner.
- Switch the preview to the collection you linked in Step 1 to confirm the banner appears.
- Hit Save.
Step 3: Add the Fundlet Product Block to the Product Template
Just like other Fundlet setups, you need the Fundlet Product block on your product template so tracking continues when a shopper clicks through to a product page:
- Still in the theme customizer, navigate to the Default Product template.
- In Product Information, add the Fundlet Product app block.
- Hit Save.
Step 4: Test
Visit the collection page on your storefront. You should see the Fundlet banner, and when you add an item to cart, the campaign discount code is applied automatically — ready for checkout.
