How to Display a Countdown Timer on Your Fundlet Campaign

Add a countdown widget to your campaign banner to drive urgency and show supporters exactly how much time is left.

Overview

The countdown widget displays a timer on your campaign page showing how much time is left — a great way to create urgency and encourage supporters to buy before the campaign closes.

Step 1: Set a Start and End Date on the Campaign

  1. In the Fundlet app, go to Campaigns and open the campaign you want to update.
  2. Click Edit and scroll down to Campaign Visibility.
  3. Set a begin date and an end date for the campaign.
  4. Hit Save.

The countdown timer is driven by this end date.

Step 2: Enable the Countdown in the Theme Customizer

  1. From the campaign, go to More Actions → Setup Storefront → Customize.
  2. Navigate to your Fundlet campaign template.
  3. Under Apps, open the Banner section.
  4. Enable the Countdown option.
  5. Hit Save.

Step 3: Preview

Go back to the Fundlet app and click View Storefront to confirm the countdown timer is showing on your campaign page. The timer will display days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining until the end date you set.
