How to Use Unlisted Shopify Products in a Fundraiser

Create fundraiser-specific products that don't appear in your storefront, search, or collections — only accessible through your campaign.

Overview

You might want to create products specifically for a fundraiser — branded items that only apply to a specific campaign, or products with a different pricing structure than your regular store. Shopify's Unlisted product status makes this easy: the product is sellable via direct link but doesn't show up in search or collections.

Step 1: Create the Product in Shopify

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Products and open an existing product to duplicate, or create a new one from scratch.
  2. Click Duplicate and give it a name.
  3. Instead of setting the status to Active, set it to Unlisted.
  4. Hit Save.

An unlisted product is sellable, but won't appear in your storefront search or any collections — perfect for a fundraiser-only item.

Step 2: Add the Product to Your Campaign in Fundlet

Because the product is unlisted, it won't appear in any collection automatically — you need to add it to your campaign directly:

  1. In the Fundlet app, open your campaign and go to More Actions → Edit Campaign.
  2. Go to the Products section and click Add Product.
  3. Search for the product by name and select it.
  4. Hit Save.

The product is now part of your campaign and will appear on your campaign storefront — but nowhere else in your store.
